Hebridean Tweed Aperture Binding in Seaglass

This aperture binding features a beautiful seaglass green with a little blue Hebridean Tweed by Adabrock Weaving Company. 

The term ‘aperture’ refers to the opening in the spine which allows the inner book to show through to the outside and to be part of the overall cover design of the book.

The 160gsm acid free paper inside is deckled and interleaved with a beautifully textured Hahnemuehle Ingres pastel paper of various colours reflecting the colour spectrum of the tweed (note the interleaving might vary slightly in the order in which they appear on the spine). The inside paper has a lovely surface texture that makes it a joy to draw and write on.

The book has 140 pages.
