Description

This coptic book features my rock-inspired artist paper made in my studio onlaid onto a 3mm black leather with a beautifully tactile surface texture. This coptic style has holes at the edge of the book boards (in other words the 3mm leather) which allows the sewing thread to become part of the cover design.

The book block is made from an acid free 170gsm Canson cartridge paper which is ideal for sketching, drawing and writing. The pages are deckled throughout and interleaved with a beautifully textured, sand coloured Hahnemuehle Ingress paper.
